Daniele, you do business in several sectors. Can you briefly tell us your personal and entrepreneurial story?
Of course. A degree in computer science and a startupper, then, in line with the determination that has always guided me, I open my first company. The real turning point, however, only happens a few years later, with the meeting that will change my path and that of my partner and friend, Francesco Marotta.
The mix resulting from the combination of passion, curiosity and determination, together with a careful and fortunate choice of collaborators, is at the basis of what has been achieved to date. Once we set off, we immediately faced a crisis that risked wiping out our dreams, but which, in reality, consolidated the awareness of the soundness of the plan we had set ourselves. This, of course, after having overcome it.
Then Albania and, with it, the birth of We Are Fiber.
And this country is a bit of my refuge and I love working there with my team: we explore new sectors and invest in our choices.
We Are Fiber, then. Tell us about its core business.
I like to introduce We Are Fiber starting from its name: we are an outsourcing company that places the emphasis on people.
With WAF, we support companies on their growth journey and, with passion, method and professionalism, we offer them various services, such as customer care management, data entry and smartsourcing, flexible and adaptable to large as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. For the latter we have developed pay-as-you-go solutions without, therefore, the burden of allocating dedicated outsourcing resources. Our staff is available in multiple languages, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
Through our work and communication tools, our clients will be able to devote themselves to their core business and entrust to us the secondary and time-consuming activities.
What are the most innovative and differentiating aspects that We Are Fiber introduces
The proposal of We Are Fiber differs from those present on the market thanks to the particular flexibility that distinguishes it and to its tailor made character. Anyone, in fact, can start an outsourcing collaboration with WAF. We do not preclude our services to those who do not have significant resources to allocate to them. Thanks to this philosophy, companies that started their collaboration with pay-as-you-go contracts have today reached important performance levels and need dedicated teams.
You place a strong emphasis on automation processes, so much so that you have created a dedicated division. Do you want to tell us about it
Since we are on the subject of hypotheses, let’s imagine that from tomorrow at your company’s reception there is Alexa, able to generate a visitor badge and give access to the turnstile. Let’s imagine that, late in the evening, when you are alone in the company, you ask Ok Google to send you the latest bank statement and an interim balance sheet at the latest available date, and that, in a few seconds, an email arrives with all the requested data. We Are Fiber and the newcomer, Humable, are already working on this new dimension.
Humable, a group company led by Antonio Costa, was in fact born to respond to the needs of WAF which, operating as an outsourcing player, realised the need for automation of processes, in order to reduce hours, costs and above all free companies from those secondary activities that would distract from the true core business.
Ultimately, can it be said that We Are Fiber can be an important contribution to making companies more efficient?
With outsourcing, businesses, even small ones, manage to compete in national and international markets. Thanks to constant training we are able to offer highly qualified teams, suited to the needs of the various sectors. The health emergency due to Covid-19 created enormous difficulties for companies and for the continuity of their services. By moving well in advance, we managed to foresee the lockdowns and to create an Emergency Plan that made it possible to reach, in just 72 hours, 100% smart working and thus guarantee our clients the services and the security of their data.
